About
Hello! I'm Aunty Shan, the heart and soul behind Aunty Shan's Dog Care.
In November 2023, after dedicating 16 years to working in offices across the NHS, Social Services, and Education, most recently in a school, I made the life-changing decision to pursue my passion for dogs and dedicate my life to looking after them full-time.
Leaving my admin career behind, I embarked on this new journey to dedicate my life to dogs. Animals have an incredible way of bringing joy and positivity into our lives, and they have transformed my life and brightened my days beyond words. Prior to starting my own dog care business, I gained valuable experience on the side, studying, working with dog care apps and at a pug café, alongside my full-time job.
Over a year into running Aunty Shan's Dog Care, I have gained even more experience and expertise in dog care. I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of breeds and temperaments, which has deepened my understanding and skills. This journey has made me more confident and knowledgeable, allowing me to provide the best possible care for your pets. Every wagging tail and joyful bark reminds me why I made this choice, and I couldn't be happier.
Aunty Shan is dedicated to providing exceptional care, ensuring every dog receives the love, care, attention and enrichment they deserve.
Insured, DBS 2024, CPD certified + Ofqual Canine Practical First Aid certified.

From regular walkies and playtime to enrichment activities and continuous training, I've got it all covered. Mealtimes are handled with care and your pet's routine is maintained.
Rest assured, your pet is in loving hands, and you'll receive regular pupdates to keep you informed about their day.
Weeknight & Weekend Care

After a long day, your pet deserves some extra TLC. Our evening dog sitting service ensures your pet gets the attention and care they need to wind down. Whether it's a relaxing walk, some gentle playtime, or just cosy cuddles, Aunty Shan will make sure your pet feels at peace, loved and comfortable.
Weekends are for adventures and Aunty Shan will ensure your pet has an action-packed day of their (your) choice, whether that's exploring parks, playing fetch, or enjoying enrichment activities indoors, your dog will have a blast.

Whether it's for a short stay or an extended period, our overnight dog sitting service ensures your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own home.
Aunty Shan will provide personalised care to keep your dog happy and relaxed by maintaining their regular routine, including feeding, medication, and any special needs they may have. With our attentive overnight care, your pet will enjoy a fun day and a restful night, giving you peace of mind knowing they're in loving hands.
Plus, you'll receive regular pupdates to keep you informed about your pet's wellbeing. At the end of the stay, Aunty Shan will ensure a thorough clean of your home and take care of any small, easy D.I.Y jobs to leave everything in perfect order.

Complete the Registration Forms
Finalise Your Booking
Message me to schedule a 30-minute video call and a 30-minute in-person meeting to get to know each other and discuss your pet's needs.
Complete the required forms to provide essential information about your pet and sign the terms and conditions.
Once the meet and greets are complete and forms are submitted, send a message to finalise your booking, arrange a free video call handover meeting & pay a 50% deposit.
